Objective

Localist is a website and smartphone app that connects proud locals with passionate local businesses and lets people discover and share the things they Love about their city, anywhere, anytime. People can "LOVE" online the businesses that they do love. 

Localist commissioned Engage to ensure that a huge number of Wellington's businesses knew about the site and its new Smartphone app encouraging them to sign up and be a part of the online Wellington Localist community. 

Execution

10 engaging, fun brand ambassadors hit the streets of Wellington to provide the friendly faces of the site. The travelled to all corners of the capital to share the Love with Wellingtonians and their businesses.

Outcome

Over 1000 businesses were visited with 500 local businesses being ‘Loved’ and were introduced to the Localist App which was over double the client targets. The deluge of new info put the localist system to the test! In addition over 100 new businesses were suggested to the Localist team to add to their database of great businesses.
