Objective
Credit Suisse is a sponsor of the National Gallery in London. They were aiming to raise awareness of the National Gallery’s Picasso exhibition “Challenging the past” and to gain some PR for it.
Execution
For five nights between the 25th February and 1st March 2009, we executed a large scale building mapping Light Projection with a Picasso inspired creative onto the National Gallery. The projections covered the building front with rotating images seen from all over Trafalgar Square.
Outcome
The client was very happy with this campaign, as it achieved exactly what was intended. Multiple consumers observing the campaign took video footage which was uploaded to YouTube. Several thousand YouTube views were achieved. The projection also generated a great deal of PR both online and in print for the exhibition. Overall a great success.
