Category

Client

Audience

Families in wealthy London areas Putney, Hampstead, Highgate, Highbury, Clapham

Objective

The campaign aimed to drive footfall to Kew Gardens over the Autumn half term. The campaign needed to engage adults and children alike and collect email addresses of the target audience to extend Kew Garden’s database.

Execution

A team of one LookWalker and one Digi Walker targeted 5 primary schools in affluent areas across London during school pick up time. The LookWalker attracted a lot of attention displaying the colorful Kew Gardens poster. For the DigiWalker we had devised an app on which parents had to enter their email address to enable children to solve a little jigsaw in 60 seconds using the touch screen. When the puzzle was solved in time the participants won a voucher for a free ice cream redeemable at Kew Gardens during half term, which was printed off by our DigiWalker printers.

Outcome

Children and adults alike loved the DigiWalkers and were queuing up for a chance to have a go at the game. A total of 97 emails were collected in the total of 5 hours campaign time.
